We found Southern Vision Development Center after researching some options for our daughter's vision/"lazy eye". Our regular ophthalmologist told us there wasn't anything that could really be done about getting her brain to use her left eye after the age of 8/9. After some research and a recommendation from a friend, I called Southern Vision to set up an evaluation. My kids had such a great experience at Southern Vision Development Center! The team is super friendly and really knows how to make kids feel comfortable. They did an amazing job helping my little ones with their vision challenges, especially when it comes to reading and learning. The whole process was fun and engaging for them, and I’ve seen such a big improvement! If your kids need vision support, this place is awesome—highly recommend!
Dr. Jones has been without a doubt one of the most helpful doctors in my healing journey. I suffered a TBI about 3 years ago, and she and her staff have been flexible, patient, and encouraging as I continue to walk through this. I did vision therapy for 6 months and saw HUGE improvements; my husband and kids also saw this. I have also completed OMST, and that was very helpful for me personally. The staff have gone over and above in making me feel seen and valued. Worth every penny. Thank you!
Services were just okay and not sure how much my daughter got from this but I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt. I wish we would have made the drive to Dr. Cook for the money we spent but did this out of convenience. I never felt like the therapist really wanted to be there that she did have. Can I give 1,000 stars? The office is gorgeous and sensory friendly with plenty of things to occupy little ones while they wait. Dr. Jones is a saint and was so patient with my very active 4 yr old. Loved all the staff 💖
