If you are in Troutman you have to visit Southern Treats! They have some fantastic ice cream as well as some great coffee! The owners are very friendly people and they served us even tho they had just closed when we visited.
This place is tucked inside Troutman Cafe, but has its own hours of operation! I had no idea there was a coffee shop inside too! I’m so glad I found it. The ice cream is delicious, and the staff is super friendly! Plus they have a fenced in area outside which is great with kids. I will be coming here from now on for coffee and ice cream!

I stumbled upon this little ice cream shop by chance, and I'm so glad I did—it was amazing! The shop itself has such a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the ice cream? Absolutely delicious.
