I ordered to-go and got the Cajun burger w/ regular fries and it is really good!! I originally wanted some boudin balls & peach cobbler to go with it but they ran out . My cajun burger makes up for it though, it is so delicious and well seasoned and the fries are well seasoned too.

This place was so sad the boudin ball was so hard no dirty rice, macaroni and cheese and you going to serve boudin ball’s and then the waitress come back and say we’re out of dirty rice so I had the chicken and waffles 🫢 my wife had the seafood platter the corn was cold the garlic mashed potatoes was hard

Thought I’d found a hidden gem, but-um-rah - NAW! What part of the pig am I eating?!? These are fried pork chops. I don’t know what part is fat or lean. Cabbage was had too much meat where you couldn’t taste the vegetable. Mac n cheese (not pictured) was po’. Nice ambiance, smooth jazz music in the background, great service but the food - disappointing. -k

My first visit ti Southern Soul Kitchen and lived the ambiance. Cool jazz/instrumental in the background. We were served by Christian, what an incredible young man?! He ensured we were satisfied. Kept checking in on us. The food was tasty, presentation was pleasing to the eyes and our taste buds. The side veg was a tad salty for me but did not deem our whole experience. Thinking of some soul food, Southern Soul Kitchen in Rosenberg comes highly recommended.
