I will be reporting the young lady that was my dental assistant today to the North Carolina Board of Dental Examiners. She felt the need to laugh with another young lady on staff when I was explaining that I take DMT for MS and was concerned for infection since my leukocytes are reduced by ~15%. I have been running a low-grade fever since I was seen on Friday and have no complaints of respiratory issues.
Dr. Okeefe & his assistant (johnny? not sure if thats his name) were excellent. I had FIVE teeth extracted! Somehow they made the experience good. Dr. Okeefe is patient, gentle and makes sure you are not in pain. Thanks guys.

All of the characteristics described in those definitions are exhibited by the awesome staff at Southern Smiles. I just want to thank all of you for making my visit a pleasant one. AVOID AT ALL COST!! i went in for fillings, got them done and was in excruciating pain for 2 weeks, taking ibuprofen multiple times a day every single day, even being woken up at night from pain. within those 2 weeks i got several bite adjustments to no avail, and finally went to another dentist 3 weeks after my initial visit because southern smiles couldn’t find the problem. one of my teeth that they filled was supposed to be a root canal (which can lead to more severe pain, potential abscesses, and in worst case bone infec... read more
