We use Southern Scripts LLC as a PMB for our company. I only work with them on behalf of our company. Our specific representatives at Southern Scripts have been both responsive and informative. Out of ~350+ people on our medical plan, I've only had two known issues- one regarding a specialty pharmacy and the other a specialty medication. They put a hold on my prescription for my insulin for almost a week. I didn’t have any to take. I’ve talked to about 5-8 people and have gotten the runaround. Don’t do business with them. Rating is well below negative one thousand.

Worst insurance company I have ever had to deal with. Almost every prescription sent over has to have "approval" if my doctor sent it over, then obviously they approved it! They try to manage my health care as if they are a physician themselves! I just had major neck surgery and had to pay out of pocket for my pain meds for my after care! I can't even believe that!! worse insurance I ever had.. seems that they only cover generic prescriptions. I've been trying to pick up my prescription that my doctor sent to the pharmacy, but cant get it, because they are saying " they need an approval ftom the doctor" AFTER my doctor sent the prescription to the pharmacy (approval for what........) never had this issue with other insurances.

I have been trying to get them to correct a problem in their system for 19 days. They want to charge me for my deductible all over again when I have already met it for the year mean while I having to go without cause the medication cost a lot. Not happy. And conveniently the supervisors always busy!

Southernscripts is the worse insurance company we have ever had to deal with. We have, unfortunately, had to deal with them over a year now and I would love to have our old insurance back. They ask physician offices to jump through many more hoops than most insurance companies do. They throw out fictitious reasons to need prior authorizations, for MAINTENANCE medications, that usually take about a week to be resolved.
