I really feel that there needs to be another trash pick-up provider in the Hinton area. I have watched this company on a weekly basis come to collect the garbage and they skip out on taking the garbage that is put out. This is a service that is paid for by my landlord. They have yet to collect all the garbage. It's hot out and let me tell you how smelly, gross, and unsanitary it makes the area due to this. It doesn't seem legal to be able to continuously collect a payment but not provide the service.
We pay for 16 bags to be picked up the sorry ass that picks the trash up leaves at least three bags a week because it's a little too heavy
June 24, 2025 Is taking payment without providing services considered fraud in West Virginia? If so, we have problems in Hinton. Landlord pays for three (3) services. This contracts Southern Sanitation to pick up 24 bags. I took film for the second week in a row of the pick up crew ignoring four (4) cans of trash. I'm guessing that they won't reimburse for the money spent on sprays and baits o combat the vermine problem they are creating.
You can't rely on this business. I don't use them anymore. Excuses is all you hear.
Great Service, anyways their to pick the trash up.
