On the beach. Quiet, peaceful
This place is absolutely fantastic! #102 on Airbnb is the way to go. Just a few minutes walk from the hangout, DeSotos, the Steamer, Shrimp Basket, and souvenir city!! We love coming here every year, and have built some wonderful family memories over the years.
I had to contact John,the property manager, during my stay at Southern Sands in early June 2024, my vehicle received significant tire damage from a drain grate that was not secured in the middle of the driveway. I had to spend $470 for a new tire. I was told he would talk to the HOA about my problem. I have not heard back from anyone. I’ve tried to contact John via text multiple with no response. In my opinion, that’s no way to treat your customers. I’ll never stay there again.
