This company seems to constantly try to out do itself on how bad it gets. Frequently there are outages with clear weather that lasts for six hours and more. Worst power company I’ve had the displeasure of “using” for all my decades. It gets worse by the year.

I deal with 3 power companies. Southern Pine, SMEPA and PRVEPA. I have no problems with the other 2 but Southern Pine consistently manages to disappoint. If you call in, about 80% of the time you'll get this one lady who sounds like she's been sitting on a corn cob all day long. She's very rude and not helpful at all. Not to mention that the power goes out at the slightest hint of bad weather and it takes them the longest to get it back on out of the three. PRV offers high speed Internet to their customers. I notified Southern Pines that they had a big limb laying on top of the power line it took them about 2 to 3 weeks to come out to get to remove the limb. I noticed they cut the lamb and some trees and placed on top of a the telephone tower on the ground so I can't burn the limbs, and they will not send out a chipper or truck to get it up.
