The clinic is small and easily accessible. Calls are always answered or returned. My physician is very thorough and incredibly kind and compassionate. One of the best there is.
I have been going to SOIM since 2014 when I moved here. I have had nothing but very good care and I am very satisfied. When my doctor recently retired, I was switched temporarily to a nurse practitioner who seemed very competent. I have been a patient at Southern Oregon Internal Medicine for 8 years. At the time, it was one of only a few places in the Rogue Valley with doctors accepting new patients. My doctor recently retired with his replacement arriving finally in the last month. I ended up signing up with SOIM's nurse practitioner and saw her a few weeks ago. I had wax in my ears and hoped to have it removed. A nurse, who apparently had just learned to remove wax from ears, struggle for 20 minutes to complete the task. I love Dr. Murphy and it always feels like you get to know each other personally. He makes notes so that he makes you feel like you and the things you talk about are never forgotten!! He takes the time to listen and takes every concern seriously. Even if he doesn’t think you have the problem you think you have, he still does the testing to investigate it.
