Clowns! In April 2013, Southern installed two Maytag IQs systems in my newly built residence. One worked fine, the other would freeze solid with 110 F temperatures outside. Southern blamed Maytag for their inability to fix the 4-ton unit. After over 20 service calls throughout the summer, Joe Delucie, owner or manager of Southern, told me he would not come back unless I would pay $400 per service call --notwithstanding the fact that in NV the installer is required to service (free labor) a new unit for a full year.
