Smrls used to be very good at giving your case to the appropriate lawyer. In this last year I have not found this to be the case. I have a benefits case & was given a elder law lawyer. Actually 2 different lawyers from the same department & neither one of them was versed in benefits or they are both intentionally sabotaging my case. I looked Rachel funk up through Linkin & her profile says she's versed in government benefits. Don’t waste your time here! You’ll get no help from these people.
John Buhta was arrogant and highly undereducated. I don’t think some of these attorneys have passed a bar exam. John would argue and become insulting when he was wrong or didn’t know what he was talking about. The SMRLS office also keeps a client list of pet names as a joke, John told me this himself, and I’m fairly certain it’s a privacy violation. If you get John Buhta, immediately have your case reassigned, he’s a joke!
