ZERO STARS....DO NOT ATTEMPT BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. We had a camper reserved since Feb 2022 with a deposit paid. On June 21st the remainder due was charged to our account. On June 22nd we received an email stating that our reservation was canceled per our request! We were supposed to pick it up June 29th. We also hadn't been able to get ahold of anyone via phone the last couple of weeks, but went there today and there were people working, they told us due to insurance issues they had to cancel.
I have never left a review but I have to with Southern Michigan Camper. If I could, I'd give it 0 stars. Supposed to pick the camper up tomorrow, couldn't get ahold of anyone the past two weeks to confirm, then got an email today saying "per request your reservation was canceled "..... absolutely terrible place.
We reserved a camper back in Janurary and 3 HOURS before picking up they canceled our reservation because a worker has covid. I dont understand why a different worker couldn't just disinfect the camper and allowed us to pick up. I have no way of contacting them because they are not answering the phone, voice-mail, or emails. The emails stated that all transactions are reserved so we'll see if I get the full amount back. I will never rent from them again and will tell everyone not to rent from them.
Such a great experience! It was so stress-free just being able to pack some clothes and head to camp with 4 kids! They set everything up, it was fully stocked, and beautiful! Will definitely be using again and have already recommended to all my family members.
We had a great experience renting from Southern Michigan Camper Rentals. Before we left the premises with our camper, the owner noticed that the awning wasn't working properly. Unsolicited, he extended an instant credit to our account as it couldn't be fixed before our departure. Overall, it was a hassle free an enjoyable experience.
