They are not even worthy of 1 star. This medical group did not take my mom’s medical issues seriously. She was in the hospitalized due to sepsis in her kidneys, kidney disease, and heart failure. My father and I repeatedly called to schedule a follow up visit with Dr. Steele. My mom’s blood pressure was dangerously high which worried us, the home care nurse, and therapist. Southern Maryland medical group is a great place if you are looking for a endocrinologist dr Romero azevedo is a great doctor he's kind and knows what he is doing he listens to his patients and provides them with the right medication for their diagnosis keep up the good work dr azevedo
High quality doctors but poor co-pay transparency and claims follow-up. Have had to fix several denied claims due to poor claim management on their end.
For my first time at this location was horrible. Usually places I visit for the first time make it fast and easy. Absolutely slow with appointments and all I wanted was a prescription filled. A One hour wait to see a nurse is ridiculous to me.
