I switched to Dr Bethany Lake roughly two years ago after moving to the area. Each time I have asked for care it has been denied. The first time I called the office on a weekend reporting symptoms of naseau and requested promethazine which has been prescribed for years. I received a call back stating the provider on call was unwilling to call any quantity in. Do not go here if you are neurodivergent. Arrogance and poor care. You will not be taken seriously. I have had to diagnose myself and request medication with my own research in hand multiple times and argue to be taken seriously to get treatment for things they dismissed. (With tests confirming I was right every.damn.time.)Years of pain that would have been completely avoidable but for their hubris. They infantalize autistics...
All ways nice and fast
I had a physical, which is 100% covered by insurance. After my physical I received a bill. After questioning about this I was told that my insurance was billed for a physical, and an office visit, because a topic was discussed that was not covered by a physical. This seems like insurance fraud, billing for 2 appointments, when I was there for 15 mins total, with 1 booked appointment.
