First timer. Went to the York office with my husband. Dr CJ Thomas was pleasant, professional, kind and friendly. He explained the options for treatment and didn't try to 'sell' us anything. The office was tastefully comfortable.
I have been treated with the best care at Southern Maine Endodontics. Dr. Thomas did an excellent job with my tricky root canal, eased my nerves, and made it a very positive experience. I have called the office with questions (even on a holiday weekend), and Dr. Thomas called me back within 10 minutes. I can’t say enough about this practice and I highly recommend them to anyone. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!
I have to share the same sentiments as all of the other reviews. Southern Maine Endodontics is fabulous. I had a root canal this morning and it was the most pleasant root canal I've ever had. There is nothing fun about sitting in the chair and having someone drill for an hour. This felt different in a really positive way. He talked me through the procedure throughout, and had some cool tricks up his sleeve to make the novacain shots pain-free. I was actually completely relaxed for a refreshing change! Dr. Garoufalis is an excellent endodontist and dentist. The office is a peaceful soothing place; her assistant is excellent; she is extremely skilled and knowledgeable. You are too busy listening to her interesting and applicable words to get nervous. I was completely relaxed and comfortable throughout the root canal. I believe she has saved my tooth. I am relieved and grateful.
Dr. Garoufalis was one of the best specialists I’ve come across in the dental world. Not only did she save my tooth, but she had exceptional bedside manners and was very knowledgeable in her craft. It put me at such ease since I have anxiety with dentists/oral specialists. I highly recommend!
