Having toured Assisted Living Facilities in Florida,Georgia and Texas, trying to find a good fit for our mom, Southern Knights checked all the boxes. It isn’t fancy, but it feels like home. Dee and the staff did an excellent job of taking care of mom’s needs. She felt loved and felt respected. The food was homemade daily, and good. I would rate Southern Knights' memory care higher than five stars if possible. My father has been there for less than one month, but I am extremely pleased with the care he is getting. The staff is compassionate and cares about his well-being. The food looks and smells great. One of the med-techs, Lisa, is really top-notch and pays attention to his needs. Walking into Southern Knights is like walking into my Granny's house. I feel so warm and comfortable ... I feel like I'm getting a big hug!!! Cozy atmosphere!!! Loving environment!!!
There is no way I would bring my African American loved one to a facility that bears the name SOUTHERN KNIGHTS... sorry!! And fyi....you didn't have to put "southern " in front of "knights". I'm from Mississippi and everybody knows that southern knights is the kkk! CHANGE THE NAME! But then again.....you're making it perfectly clear what race of people you want in your facility....
