Had a wonderful time doing the “Bring your own piece” class! Virginia did an amazing job and provided us with a great lunch! I highly recommend getting together with a friend or even going alone! I am more than thrilled of how my piece turned out!
Everyone at SIFF is so helpful. I took the Farmhouse Panel class where I learned how to use milk paint and gilding wax. Previously I have stopped by and Virginia has shown me how to achieve a certain look, but working on a piece with her in the same room is unparalleled. I look forward to taking another class.
Today, my wife and I stopped by because we are in the process of purchasing a home and are interested in painting some older furniture. We are not knowledgeable of this technique of painting (Annie Sloan chalk painting). We just wanted to look at examples and learn more about the technique. We were talked to like we shouldn't have come into the store. Apparently there is a specific order of what coats you put on and that even varies depending on the surface being painted. I have taken the bring your own piece class and the farmhouse mirror and I've learned so much from Virginia! She is so talented and a great teacher! Not only did we have a fun and informative class, but she provided the best lunch! I thoroughly enjoyed the classes and know that I will be returning for more!
Outstanding customer service and great classes! I have driven from out of state at least twice just to take classes with Virginia and I continue to order paint online! Highly recommend!
