They didn't send me a bill until 3 months after my procedure, and then they accused me of not paying on time. Infuriating.
This pathology group is one of the few where every pathology specimen is reviewed by two pathologists. If a third opinion is needed they refer to Mayo. It is the responsibility of each person to validate who is in network for their insurance.
I've had a nightmare with this office every time my OB/GYN uses them. They sent me to collections for 4 bills that they didn't file with my insurance company on time, and were denied payment because of this. It took me over a year to get the issue cleared up, even though they told me several times I didn't owe them anything. They also do balance billing for anything your insurance doesn't cover.
Got the bill then found this lab is not a PPO for my insurance company, I don't understand why IU bloomington will allow this lab do the test for the patient. Please ask before you go there.
This is a nightmare. This Lab IS NOT a PPO for my insurance and they went ahead and did tests anyway. I am refusing to pay the bill and its between them and the hospital who screwed up.
