Do not use this company unless you can afford to lose your money! Roman took our first payment installment, and work began as expected. After we paid our second installment (about 50k), excuses began to roll in as to why nothing was progressing. We had been told that materials had been ordered and subs paid, only to find out that those were lies. We were left with a partial structure that was exposed to the weather. DO NOT hire this company. Began work 3/22 and after asking for invoices in Sept 2022 because work was still not finished we never heard from the company again. Was left with unfinished projects and sub par work. New person hired to complete bathroom had to tear out all the floor and bath/shower tile and start again. We are out so much money and he has yet to respond to many attempts to solve this problem out of court. Save yourself the huge headache, time and money and DO NOT hire for any reason!

They are making my tub a walkin tub by installing a tub kit. So far they are the only ones that are actually following up to my call, giving me an estimate and actually doing the job. Out of the six others ,4 never showed up, and the two who came by took measurements and said they would call me back with an estimate. Neither ever did. Contact me if you want the names of the last two as I consider them the worst offenders.

Roman and his crew are very professional and courteous. He built a carport for me and the quality is really impressive. He always keeps in contact before and during the job. Would recommend Southern Illinois Construction to anyone . You won't be disappointed!
