The absolute worst doctor I've ever been to. I went in for a physical and all she did was barely look in my ears (stood and 3 feet from me and moved my hair with the instrument) and barely looked in my throat. She had the worst bedside manners I've ever encountered. When I asked her if they were going to do my blood work she said "you can come back another day for that" I responded that I would like to do the bloodwork now since I fasted for the appointment, as recommended by office staff when setting the appointment. Extremely disappointed. Unnecessary visits that caused unnecessary money out of my pocket. Couldn't trust my health with a doctor who is taking advantage of me.

She's fabulous. I'm also in the medical field, so I feel I know what to look for. She is level-headed, and yes, does know when to "brush off" certain concerns (or rather, offer reassurance). On the other hand, when I had a headache that was potentially dangerous, she got me in for an MRI immediately, and even went head-to-head with my insurance company to get it covered. Dr. Mcdonald has been my primary for over a year and 1/2. I was in an auto accident and went to the ER and had a concussion amongst other things. I was told to follow up with my primary weekly to watch my concussion and check on the other issues. I called Mcdonalds office the first weekday after my wreck. Her staff informed me that they do not see people after an auto accident, leaving me with no doctor in a moment I needed it most.
