When our cat was incredibly sick and nearly at death’s door, we took him to Southern Highlands Veterinary Centre in hopes they could help. They were amazing from the start. The staff was kind, compassionate, and really took the time to assess his condition, offering us comfort and reassurance even though we knew the situation was dire. They did everything they could to stabilize him before we made the tough decision to drive him to Sydney for further care. We have been going here for over 4 years. Everything has been great until recently. We have 6 pet chickens including some roosters that have had a respiratory virus that comes up about once a year. Everytime this happens we take a sick chicken in and they are given doxycycline. I called the vet as I was working away to have my husband pick the meds up. When I got home o realised they gave him useless ctc powder which does not work. I called to find out why? This time I was told that they would need $500 or more to test the c... read more

I have been going here for years and have nothing but gratitude and admiration toward the team. They are extremely kind and gentle and willing to go above and beyond every time to help, as someone who rescues disabled animals I have never found a more capable or brilliant team of vets to take on the challenges at hand. Five stars is frankly not enough.
