Paul's foray in the motorcycle industry began as a mechanic in 1984, when he undertook an apprenticeship with Garry and Wendy Roe at Roe Motorcycles in Warrnambool, Victoria. While Paul learned the tricks of the trade, Trudy studied a Bachelor of Acquired Health at Bendigo University.
