Today’s TEAM SCC brunch was SOUL-FULL in every sense! We had the BEST time at Southern Harvest Soul Food in Jacksonville, but we have to give a special shout-out to our SUNSHINE! ☀️ We’re calling her that because she was rocking the brightest yellow shirt, but honestly, her personality was even brighter. BEST COLLARD GREENS EVER!!!!! Menu is small but perfect. Wife had shrimp and grits and they were perfect!! Fried pork chops and okra were fried to perfection!! WHO EVER IS IN THAT KITCHEN IS COOKING WITH LOVE!!!! THAT IS ALL!!!!!!

I honestly don’t know how this place has a 4.7 rating. We go around to different restaurants in the Jacksonville area trying out breakfast; this by far has been a let down. No condiments, napkins on the table. The prices were high and we expected a good breakfast. At each other place a breakfast came with toast and jelly- not here. Coffee refills were served regularly without having to wait to get attention of server.
