I attempted to place an order in March 2026. When I walked in, there was one person waiting who had just placed an order. There was an older woman behind the counter taking orders. I ordered food on Uber Eats 30 minutes before I went on break at work and I didn’t get it delivered until 20 minutes before my break ended and I have a hour break. Then when I got my shrimp and grits it had no flavor no love and the cornbread wasn’t worth it either. They stated the person who usually opens up had an emergency which is understandable but I won’t be ordering again.

Won't be ordering from this "business" again after waiting 20 minutes on a grubhub order they canceled my order. I don't know if they ran out of product or if they falsely advertise the time they are open but this will definitely be the last time

Waited in the restaurant more than 30 minutes for a to go order which they said my food was being cooked. When I finally got my order, after waiting we decided to eat our to go order inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, all of my food was cold like it was just sitting out for hours. To top it off, it just wasnt good at all. I paid for two soft drinks (Ginger Ale) & after paying for it, they were unable to fill one cup. The Mac n cheese with the yams omgggggg!!!!!! I wish they were open 7 days a wk I live in Hempstead there hasn’t been a Soulfood spot like this ever I used to drive to Queens just for Soulfood I wanna know who the cook is cause baby they put they whole foot in that food!!!!
