I have eaten at Southern Food Company many times over the years. The food is always great and the waitstaff are incredibly kind. My major issue is the lack of staff. Every time I attend, our wait times are longer than they should be. The servers are running around doing the best they can. They often have to apologize that they are understaffed. Service was terrible. Worst waiter I have had in years.
My husband and I landed at this restaurant when there was a long wait at a restaurant up the road. We have been back several times since and prefer it over the other place. Atmosphere is relaxing and the staff are very friendly. David was one of our recent servers and he was great! Love all the art on the walls! Also, they have great specials!
