Closed today with so many issues. Southern Fidelity blamed ADM, ADM blamed Southern Fidelity. I had no figures for closing until 15 minutes before close. The assistant Nicki gave me a figure the evening before and was 99% sure it was correct....Wrong, it was over. Why was closing even set if everything was not ready? Since I've called who started the process of the loan, who happens to be the owner the company, and I haven't heard a word from him, I guess they are not worried about customer concerns and worries either. The whole process wasn't that much of a headache. My wife and I just feel there could have been a little more communication. Every time we were told someone would call us whether it be underwriter, closing attorney etc we ended up having to call. I had to reach out to the title company to receive our closing date 4 days after we were told someone would call. I really don't see what the point in having a loan officer was. I did all the calling and transferring of information.
Dawn Miller was recommended to me by a friend and it was a great experience working with her. I went to her office and explained what I needed and she got me the deal that I wanted. During the process she made sure that I always understand all my options.
