What an absolute horrible experience.  Bathroom remodel project started in April and as on mid-Oct, still not done.  First project manager left company and we were not notified until we called him for a project status.  New project manager could not piece together anything related to the job claiming we owed 13k out of pocket based on a plan that was out of date, never accepted and never delivered.  Run away from this company!

SCAM Alert My mother-in-law had to take Southern Elite Contracting (SEC) to court to recover $4,000 (plus court costs). SEC had taken her payment in the fall of 2022, agreeing to replace water-damaged floors in her home. However, SEC visited the house just once – to collect payment and tell her they would replace the floors in three weeks. They never did. We had renovation done after water damage. It took a year to do what, even with the impact of COVID, should have taken no more than 2 to 3 months (flooring, drywalling, painting, resetting fixtures on one floor). All of our fixtures and raw materials were pretty easy to come by (or subs available). So, in our case, we could not blame things on supply chain issues. Our issues were as follows: 1. Communication.
