The owner of this restaurant and the staff are amazing. We were having a bake for my Pastor at First Lady the company that catered our Food left off the sides. The owners and her staff came through in a crunch with within 10 minutes we had piping hot food, and the banquet was not delayed. Did I mention that she was closing for the day?This was such a blessing to us.
Now THIS is slap-yo-mama Southern soul food. We stopped at Southern Eatery in Holly Springs while passing through on a road trip, and let me tell you—THIS is the kind of place you hope to accidentally find. It’s a buffet, and every single thing on it tastes like somebody’s grandma has been in that kitchen since 6 a.m. cooking with love, butter, and absolutely no concern for your diet. Great food! The fried chicken was very good! Peas and yams were like Mama used to make. Atmosphere had true Southern courthouse square vibes. Staff was super friendly. Highly recommend!
