They jumped through hoops to gain my Residential business only to ignore support calls after less than 2 yrs! Changing lines of business is fine as long as you honor current customers by supporting or selling support of old business lines to another company! Lawyer up time!
Recommended#1 Understand your contract. #2 Understand your electric bill. #3 Understand your loan or PPA. #4 Know that there is maintenance and you may be responsible for it. #5 Know that utility policies and political winds may change. I've been a customer for one year. I'm happy with my installation. There have been issues and Southern Current has done their part to fix them.
RecommendedI do NOT nor will I ever recommend Southern Current. They LIE when selling you the solar system, leaving people in tremendous debt with no resolve. I have only had panels for about 6 months and I’ve had nothing but problems, no one addresses them and we are left with high electric bills along with our outrageous solar payment! This place is a terrible company.

Since installing our system back in December, we have used ZERO KWh from SCEG/Dominion. Thank you Southern Current for engineering and installing our system perfectly!
Great customer service, we had a problem with our panels not generating energy for several weeks. As soon as they learned about the problem their came out repaired it immediately. Since we were not generating power we were billed by SCE&G. Southern Current offered us a gift card to off set the bill. Thank you very much.
