We are very happy with the way our carport build went. The tradesmen were professional and hard-working. A great job was done, and we are extremely pleased.
I recently had the pleasure of working with the team at Southern Cross Sheds to replace my shed which had been damaged from a tree. After several months of fighting with the insurer's builder, I approached Grant and the team for their assistance, and they very quickly arranged to assess the shed and provided a very competitive quote which I used to receive a payout from the insurer to book the job in with them. Grant and the team from Southern Cross Sheds were very professional with an amazing work ethic. They had an opening prior to Christmas and, it suited us, so our shed was up before Christmas. My husband is a builder, (perfectionist), and he was very happy with the quality workmanship. He was able to relax while the team completed the double bay shed with one room attached. Overall very happy with our carport.We asked for a few things that weren't standard- posts set back from corner and a rebate on gable at front which enhances the look of it. Quality of the kit is really good- big posts, 100 x 100 and all sturdy etc.Just a couple of little niggles. It takes a fair while between ordering it and completion but that's unfortunately a sign of the times currently with supply etc. We also had delays with erecting but that was just bad luck and couldn't be helped.
