Pulled in as we had a fuel filter light on the way to Perth. Gentlemen behind the counter had the filter we needed out back. Attempted to replace myself with no luck. Went back and asked for assistance in which he had no problem in doing. Tried to pay the gentleman for his help in which he replied “no need”. Plenty of parts available in shop with friendly service if ya ever encounter a problem along your trip in the goldfields - highly recommend

I encountered a minor code problem with my car near Southern Cross. I stopped at Southern Cross Motor Mart a found that they were more than willing to check the code and rectify it for me. When I mentioned payment I was met with “No need” How damn good is good old country service/attitude to travellers. Thank you very much
