Our experience with Southern Cross Care Home Package has been unprofessional and ignorant as well as insulting. My Mother, who is elderly and has vascular dementia, and myself have recently evacuated a mouldy rented apartment under doctors advice. Our current situation is even more challenging and difficult due to these circumstances. I can honestly say that this agency seems to be experiencing severe staff shortages that is having a detrimental effect on the frail and aged people who are depending on them for support and care. I have seen staff not arriving on the allocated date and time leaving the elderly person confused and worried.
