I've been going to Dr.Andrews office for years. However, I have a problem with getting my medications called in lately. They ignore me and the pharmacy!! If they don't want me as a patient they need to let me know. I have only seen Dr. Andrews a few times, mostly it's her help, Ms. Kamara. Who is not a doctor but an assistant. She takes her time to explain things to you and even though I've told them I'm not going to have certain things done, I understand they have to let me know. This practice don’t give a damn about their patients. They only care about the money they can make off your conditins. These people get paid well from insurance for the little amount of work they do. They will deny you service and medication over the patient lack of ability to pay $100 payment or a small co-pay. They rather see a patient die of $100 than to provide services that they are getting paid majoryi of the money from medical insurance ..,,sad. Dr Andrews and her staff are AWESOME. As others have noted, YES, the waiting time can be long, BUT once its your turn, she is so careful and attentive, that you realize you waited because she gave the patients before you the same care. She always listens, shes always honest about her suspicions of whats going on or not, generous with her knowledge, and genuinely concerned. I am so grateful to have her and her staff for my care.
im sitting in dr andrews office typing this my son is a new patient we just moved here my daughter was seen on yesterday in a timely manner but today my appt was for 2:30 its now 3:46 i would never recommend this office to anyone how has an emergency or anything else
I like Dr. Andrews she knows her stuff...she doesnt however call in prescriptions to the pharmacy, you have to get your refill prescription while in the office.... Ive never known a doctor to do that, neither did my pharmacy..and it was maintenance drug...that Ive taken for years with her...So whatever you do make sure you get your prescriptions while you are there....or it will cost you another visit..
My primary physician is worthy of at least 5 stars! She is friendly, funny, and is genuinely concerned for the overall health of her patients. I truly enjoy going to see her. The office is closed midday for lunch (like most doctors offices) and does not open until exactly the time that they are rescheduled to open. Something to consider if you have a 2pm appt--dont arrive too early.
Our family have been patients with Southern Crescent Family Practice for three years and praise God everyday for Dr. Andrews and her "new" staff as they go beyond the call of duty in every aspect of care from check in to check out! Dr. Andrews diagnosed my daughters medical condition that for five years multiple physicians from multiple specialties could not diagnose and we thank God every day for her and her medical knowledge and down to earth loving care, She is truly what all physicians should be!!
