Got tired of staying at expensive hotels and thought I would take a chance on something different. Great place! Great location in the Garden District and only two block from St. Charles and the street car line. Tons of places to eat within walking distance and a short street car ride to the business district and the French Quarter. The other direction will take a quick trip to Tulane and the uptown area. Cindee makes a great breakfeast and is a great help in planning out your day and has great suggestions for places to eat. ... read more
From a hello hug at the first breakfast to the goodbye hug after four days, Cindee and her beautiful B&B made us feel at home and like family. This was our first experience with a B&B and I'm afraid that it's spoiled us, as I can't imagine anything better. The rooms were lovely and huge, the shared space was beautiful and welcoming and the breakfasts were amazing - perhaps Cindee has been a chef in a previous role and she didn't share that story! We just completed our second stay at Southern Comfort B&B. It was great! The innkeeper made us feel right at home. We've been to New Orleans many times over the years, and Southern Comfort B&B is located in our favorite part of town.

This is a wonderful place to stay at. The location is excellent, the hospitality amazing, and the breakfast every morning is better than you'd find in a quality restaurant.
