My experience with Adam and this business is along the lines of all the other one star reviews. In July my car was picked by Adam and a tow company. At that time I was told that my 5k deposit would cover dismantling and that this process would take around 5 weeks. After 6 weeks and no communication i called and left a message. Adam called back a few minutes later and told me that they had started on my car and that he had been having some issues with help. He said that he would have an update for me soon. Adam and his crew did an excellent job on my car. I would recommend him to anyone. Very pleased with the result.
I would not recommend this shop to anyone for any reason, except possibly for a simple paint job—and even then, I’d be cautious. The owner, Adam Pinckard, gives the impression that he is knowledgeable about vehicle restoration and perhaps once was. However, he consistently missed deadlines, failed to update me on the status of the project, and ultimately took an additional year to complete the work.
