Great food. Southern charm. Desserts are awesome
After being recommended to try the food, my wife and I went on a Sunday for lunch. The atmosphere was nostalgic and comforting. The food took some time to be ready, but was worth the wait due to the freshness. We tried a variety of items, after this visit we will be coming back again trying on different days to taste daily specials.
the food was really good! i especially liked their onion rings. the service was kinda slow, though, and almost all of the tables were dirty when we got there- some even still having trash on them- and no one cleaned them within the ~1 hour or so we were there
We’ve been here twice now and Southern Chicks absolutely delivers. The chicken is unreal. Perfectly seasoned, super crunchy, and somehow the breading stays light instead of thick and heavy. It’s the kind of fried chicken where you can peel back the breading and see how thin and crisp it is, but it still has that amazing crunch. We tried the fries this time and they were excellent too.
