The other day, my girlfriend went to go buy a Tacoma from the dealership. She took the truck to go get it inspected by a third party mechanic personally. While she was at the mechanic the dealer sold the car to another customer agreeing on a certain price.
I went to this place looking to buy a car. Yesterday, I went to test drive it, and today I went to pick it up and get it inspected by a mechanic. The manager told me that if I called by 3:30, the car was mine, and if not, someone else was coming to take a look at it. I get to the mechanic, everything looks good, so I call around 3:00 and he informs me that he sold it to someone else — right after I paid $100 to get it inspected. Frustrating.
