Takes forever to navigate the automatic voice system and speak with a customer service representative.
Maurice from the gas company was a STAR. He was very patient while the tent was being removed from my home after a termite tenting job, so he could turn the gas back on. Maurice was engaging and professional at all times.
My furnace had been red tagged due to a minor issue. HVAC companies were telling me I needed a new unit for $20,000. I called the manager at SoCalGas, John Jones, who had his technician, Oscar, fix my furnace for free. I am sooo grateful!
Had a strange smell and could not decide if a mouse or rat had died in the house or if I had a gas leak. As I was going away for a few days, and as an over abundance of caution, I called the SoCal gas leak line. Was answered immediately and a tech came in 14mins. He confirmed it was not a leak. Checked all my gas appliances. And then kindly have my meter a fresh lick of grey paint, which looks great! Very responsive and professional service. Was super impressed.
