Power goes out every other week, often for 14-20 hrs at a time. Always for longer than estimated time they give. Thousands of dollars of food destroyed. Worst energy company since the invention of electricity

Yesterday an SCE employee stalked me and came into my yard and trimmed a tree AFTER I asked him to please come back tomoas I had a dog and puppy grave to protect from the falling branches. He simoly entered my proposal and trimmed my tree against my will. Watch out for these guys.

Tried to change my listed email address to one already on record, but not the one that shows up as listed for my account; never could speak with a human. Gave up and mailed (late) the bill payment. Worst web service ever.

Climate in Santa Barbara is favorable, so power supply is fairly reliable, however, it can become fickle with less weather than other regions consider normal. They have a monopoly, so it doesn't really matter what you think of the service of power supply though. The website functionality, and billing service, however, are abysmal. When i first set up my account, despite registering as a new occupant of the premises, the phone number for the account remained the previous owners number. I had to call in to fix it.
