The food is good but the service is trash I called in a pickup order because the only other time I was there it took really long for my food so I called this time and it still took mad long I ordered at 2:30pm got there at 3:00 and still didn’t get my food for another 20 something mins so just beware don’t make plans before getting food from here smh
Jimmy is amazing! He helped us out with an order mixup and made things right. The food is always fresh and delicious. I will always return to this location.
I need this place to be consistent with their food. I come here quite a bit but on 6/17 these beef ribs aren’t seasoned. I did an online order for delivery and of course they didn’t deliver my drink. Idk who’s to blame for that. The cabbage has no flavor whatsoever and the sweet potatoes aren’t either and usually the food is phenomenal. For the most part this is one of the best soul food spots on the east side. I’ll change my review when things are better for online service orders.
