Rude, very slow and unhelpful staff. I waited 15 minutes (at the drive thru!) for two rolls of quarters yesterday, so the teller could “open the vault” to get them for me. After 15 minutes she said she still hadn’t found anyone to open the vault and we left without the money we came to get. This is a weekly occurrence, even a simple cash deposit takes them 10-15 minutes on average. The elderly, short, heavy set clerk is awful and highly unprofessional.
My husband and I tried unsuccessfully to set up an online account; so, we went directly to the Southern Bank facility on Sunshine in Springfield, Mo. Dennis Nowak, the Branch Retail Manager, took time from his busy schedule to finish setting up the account for us. He was knowledgeable, experienced, helpful, and patient. He was so pleasant that he made a complicated banking experience manageable. Thank you Southern for hiring employees like Dennis.
They took all my information and my daughters. Told me they would het the account set up and call me or mail me whatever. I NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. I called and a lady took my name and number and still days passed with no call. Do NOT go here!
