Mike and son are extremely helpful.I’m a out of Towner and had a massive oil leak on my f-150 p/u , they got me on a rack in a very short period of time , and a very good mechanic diagnosed my problem within minutes, turns out I had a pinhole in the filter , I had just had the oil changed before leaving for vacation, left oil all up under the truck, which he spent a long time cleaning. I couldn’t have ask to be treated any better. These guys are fantastic!!!
RecommendedLet me share the type of GREAT people that work here. My wife was in an accident in New Smyrna. She and a friend with 4 dogs were stranded. It was 4:30 pm and Mike closes @ 5 pm. He answered my call, recommended a towing company, and then even drove to where the vehicle was broken down to help. He went back to his shop after looking to help them just to let me know that they were no longer at that location. In today's world this type of human kindness and caring for others is what we need. I would like to recommend this company. Mike is very knowledgeable and gave me a fair estimate on services needed. He gave a time when it could be repaired and about how long it would take. Just the mechanics we were looking for, great work, honest and reasonable. This will be the only place we will be taking our vehicles to.
These guys are real MECHANICS not just part replacers. I have been in the business and know the difference. Too many guys just throw parts at the job until the problem is fixed. Mike and Bill actually think about the problem, analyse it and fix it. Southern Auto Repair has done a lot of work on my 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme convertible (I think Bill is ready to adopt it) that required thinking about the problems not just a shower of new parts.
