Stayed at “Southerlies Beach House” booked through Freycinet Holiday Houses, The house itself was generally fine, although there was an ant infestation in the ensuite bathroom. The real issue was with the upsell of a “$95 BBQ pack” which sounded like a great idea. Unfortunately, despite the compendium containing BBQ instructions and a QR code at the entrance linking to the same instructions, there was no BBQ at the property. As soon as we entered the property we felt we were at our own secluded hideaway. Then you see the view off the back deck and it is breathtaking! The kitchen is well equipped and there is a beautiful enclosed sunroom. Even the bathroom has a stunning view. The natural light that warms the house gives it a beautiful homely feel and there is also an open fire and heating if needed. Only a 20m walk to a secluded beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

I was instantly blown away by the location of this hidden gem. When I first walked through the doors I was breath taken by the views. “ The Hazards” to the east and beach front views just made the holiday even more relaxing. I love the outdoor and indoor fires and the deck just made it such a peaceful place. Plenty of room for the family with house and perfect kitchen to entertain with the family. I can’t wait to book another holiday to stay at “Southerly’s”
A fabulous location with stunning views, Perfect open plan beach house to relax and get away from it all, summer or winter(love the log fire) Beach at the back door, what more could you want! Owners have thought of everything, extremely comfortable and well provisioned. Can’t wait to return!
