I was told I needed two crowns, totaling around $5000. At my next appointment, I was told I needed four more crowns. I am a healthy, 28 year old who goes to the dentist at least twice a year, so this news alarmed me. Dr Thach actually laughed as he shared this with me, which was deeply upsetting after the amount of money and distress this situation caused.
