What ever you do - don't Kerry P. I had a similar incident with Jim in August '14. Took in my '78 KZ for several items, always a delay, assured me it wouldn't set out in the 90 deg. sun, but it did (with a thin cover). Picked up the bike after 2 weeks with no work done, discovered he pulled the nice, shinny steel brake line and replaced it with a cheap, hand-formed line. In essence, he stole a part off my bike. He could have ordered it on line like I had to do. This man cannot be trusted, IMO.

The worst experience I'm glad others had good experiences with Jim's Southend motorcycle. Mine was not, and every word of my review is true. I took my near showroom condition 1984 honda shadow 700 (7800 miles, most of its' life in heated storage) to Jim near the end of June 2014 with what appeared to be carb issues. He returned it to me "fixed" on 7/10/14, and charged me 358.00. I rode it about 2 miles and returned it to him with the same carb issues. He then kept the bike until 11/12/14 (not a typo). I told him I was pickin... read more
Jim's fixed problem after other shop failed My 1975 CB400F had been rebuilt by another shop that charged me $4200. It ran for 125 miles and it quit. Original shop couldn't figure it out but wanted even more money. I took it to Jim's Southend Motorcycle and it was fixed in 6 weeks for $340. Jim's rebuilt the carburetors that had supposedly been rebuilt by the other shop. Conclusion? Jim's Southend Motorcycle knows how to fix your classic Honda for a reasonable price.
I would take your bike elsewhere. Horrible. brought my bike in, paid them to check it out, and tell me what it would take to get it going as an everyday rider. There was gas leaking out of the carbs, paid them roughly $400 to get that fixed and some other stuff they said needed to be fixed. They never called me back when the bike was done, I had to call them and they said, ??oh yeah, its been done for awhile, you can come pick it up? then when i got my bike, right when i turned it on it started leaking gas. i thought this mi... read more
Awesome motorcycle tech Jimmy is an excellent motorcycle tech. What more I can say, he is awesome. All you have to do is to be patient with him. He has given me the best advice, and cleared all my myths about these machines. Just awesome.................!
Top shop in motorcycle Seattle. Honest, quality work at fair prices. Repaired the brakes after they where screwed by the main dealer quickly and efficiently.
A+++! These guys are tops These guys are tops for mechanical aptitude, knowledge and communication. They provided me with fast service at an excellent price. Not only was my bike finished when they said it would be, but they even furnished me with a Quality Control Report which provided an entire inspection of my bike. Where else can you get that? I'm glad to have a shop on the south side that does dependable, reliable and solid work and that is owned by folks I'll enjoy doing business with for years to come.
These guys are fantastic I have an unusual (Chinese) bike, which they've done wonderful work on. They also give great advice and have made suggestions to help me do some of the maintenance myself...
