Dr. Gunnlaugsson is amazing. After another ENT doctor recommended surgery, I sought a 2nd opinion from Dr. Gunnlaugsson. Thankfully, I did. Dr. Gunnlaugsson was extremely transparent and thorough in reviewing my medical records and treatment options. We agreed that the surgery recommended by the other ENT doctor was unnecessary. Doctors like Dr. Gunnlaugsson are rare. He truly cares about his patient's health and does not recommend unnecessary surgery.
As a patient of record/receiving allergy shots, I reached out a year ago for an appointment after extended complications from the flu. When I asked what I should do in the future, Dr. G said, “Don’t get the flu.’ So, I when my husband tested positive for flu, I immediately reached out to be proactive and follow his medical counsel. Dr Chad and his staff are by far the best medical office I have been associated with. From the front staff, nurses, support staff to the Doctors everyone is great. Friendly smiling faces, knowledgeable staff and very clean environment is what you will expect and get here.
I went to Dr. G a year ago because of loss of hearing in one ear and was very satisfied, went back last October for a recheck and he said I would probably be a good candidate for hearing aids, but I didn’t want to jump into that…went back to the RN when he was out of the office earlier this year for vertigo which she said wasn’t vertigo…not sure about that but I did get better…and try to realize they know more than I do. I have found the staff and doctor at Southeastern ENT the BEST! I’m dealing with a number of other different doctors’ staffs trying to get clearances before surgery and am appalled at some of the people working in a number of doctors offices. So I can really appreciate what an excellent staff Dr G has! I have to leave VM at all these other offices I call and some don’t return call or it takes days to return.
