As a Navy Vet and a son of New Orleans, I can honestly say the VA is not perfect but this one comes close. This VA is uniquely New Orleans and for the most part I was treated well here. I lived in Houston for a while and when I saw how bad Houston was I would make the drive to New Orleans to be seen. I appreciate this VA giving me the options to be seen outside of this VA (community care) when I was not satisfied with my provider.
