We signed a contract to build a new home on our lot in August 2021. We had the excavating done per the contractor's instructions. It took a year before they began to pour the concrete foundation. A lot of expensive lumber was left for months uncoved in the rain and weather. Once the house was dried in, the basement flooded at least 4 times resulting in mold and mildew which is black.
