Price at checkout did not match ad. When I showed the ad I was treated like I was a pest. I will not go back.

Always a pleasure to shop here, the staff is always friendly and helpful. I do most of my grocery shopping here. And recently I discovered their catering department. I went to a party who used them and the food was wonderful. Can't wait to cater my next party.

I don't usually complain but I bought a chicken cutlet sandwich there and the young man serving me dropped the roll of wrapping paper on the floor and proceeded to wrap my sandwich in the section that had fallen on the floor. I asked for a clean piece. He had also heated up the cutlet prior to making the sandwich (too long -it was very tough) and asked me if I wanted it heated up after it was all done. Good thing I said no thanks or it would have been like eating a tire.

great local market. fruit, meat, great cheeses & specialties, dips etc. you'll never wait on a line...the staff is trained well to be helpful and friendly. just avoid the middle aisles as they are alittle overpriced. if its edible it comes from here...everything else from walbaums

i think they are great, maybe on some products the prices are higher but its not king kullen it is a gourmet super market, with great fruit, out of this world cheese sections, and everyone who works there are helpful and friendly. you pay more for a better product i always did and grew up that why, if your looking for paper towels then go to king kullen.

great products, but pricey. However, their MEAT is prime and priced very affordably. nice environment; often cheese samples are put out for tasting. meat department is very helpful, and the cashiers are friendly. go for the meat, and the specialty items, maybe even go for the produce department, but avoid the expensive middle isles! I don't shop exclusively at Southdown; I supplement my general grocery shopping with Southdown Market. Once you try Southdown's beef, you'll never go back to Waldbaum's' or King Kullen's beef!
