They wouldn't even see me until I was 8 weeks pregnant (which I didn't know exactly how far along I was. They estimated 6 weeks at the time of the call to set up an appointment). Come to find out after a trip to the emergency room that I was 10 weeks pregnant. I called them and told them I needed my appointment moved to an earlier date because I have now missed my first 8 week appointment and am currently 10 weeks. Lou Brown was fabulous! As a 1st time patient, I was unsure what to expect. The staff was excellent in providing the initial care. But it was Dr Lou Brown who won me over with her calm demeanor, quick wit and knowledgeable medical care. She took time to listen to me and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend this practice
Dr. Hamner is very supportive of my natural birth and my birth plan, including alternatives to pitocin/artificial induction and my non-traditional pain relief techniques. I love that all of my questions are answered thoroughly and with patience. The nurse practicioner, Lou Brown, is also very supportive and helpful. The entire staff is friendly. I have been seeing Dr. Hamner throughout my entire pregnancy and will deliver with him in a few weeks.
The wait for ultrasound was too long. They scheduled everyone at the same time and couldn't see everyone. They asked me to come back after waiting for almost two hours.
